Login Instructions:
ASCC Members - Select "Login with ASCC" and enter your credentials through our membership portal.
Non-ASCC Members - Select My Account tab and create a Guest Account. In the future you may login through the guest portal by entering your email address and password above.
Eligibility & Rules of Competition
Competition is open to both ASCC members and non-members. A minimum of three, and a maximum of six photographs shall be submitted for each entry. Each submittal must include a clarification statement. There is no limit to the number of entries per company. You may enter the same project in no more than two categories.
The submittal deadline is July 15th, 2026
Entry Fees
ASCC Members $75 for each entry.
Non-members $100 for each entry.
Declaration and Presentation
Winners will be notified no later than August 15. 2026 and awards will be presented at the ASCC Annual Conference in September.
Judging
A panel of industry professionals will judge the entries. The judges’ decisions will be final.
Submitted projects will be reviewed on the following criteria:
25% Aesthetics – to what extent the design of the project appeals to the customer and the public at large
25% Craftsmanship – the detail and precision taken in the installation
25% Functionality – how the project provides a solutions for which it was intended
25% Creativity – how the project goes beyond its functional purpose to enhance both the project itself and the decorative concrete industry
Note: Unsafe practices in submission photogaphy maylead to disqualification. If there are fewer than three entries in any category, that category will not be judged. Entry fees will be refunded.
Clarification Statement
Each submittal must include a 100-300 word clarification statement, which should enable the judges to understand the overall scope and other facets of the project which made it particularly difficult or challenging.
The clarification statement should cover the complexity and uniqueness of the project and might include information such as:
- Project design
- Economy and craftsmanship
- Degree of difficulty of layout and installation
- Site compatibility
- Project challenges i.e. accessibility, scheduling, budget, weather, owner requirements, etc.
- Ecological and environmental factors
- Problem solving
